Early trends on the U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open higher on Wednesday. Tariff discussions and geopolitical developments might be influencing investor sentiments.

Asian shares finished mostly up, while European shares are trading mostly positive.
In the Asian trading session, the dollar gained strength, and gold was steady below $3,315 per ounce. Crude oil futures steadied at around 10-day highs as Trump shortened the deadline for Russia oil sanctions.
As of 8.10 am ET, the Dow futures were gaining 70.00 points, the S&P 500 futures were adding 15.50 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures were progressing 109.75 points.
The U.S. major averages finished broadly up. The Nasdaq rose 70.27 points or 0.3 percent to 21,178.58 and the S&P 500 inched up 1.13 points or less than a tenth of percent to 6,389.77, while the narrower Dow edged down 64.36 points or 0.1 percent to 44,837.56.
On the economic front, the International Trade in Goods (Advance) for June will be released at 8.30 am ET. The consensus is for a deficit of $99 billion, while in the prior month the deficit was $96.6 billion. Exports in May was down 5.2 percent.
Retail Inventories (Advance) for June is scheduled at 8.30 am ET. In the prior month, the inventories were up 0.3 percent.
The Wholesale Inventories (Advance) for June will be published at 8.30 am ET. The consensus is 0.0 percent, while it was down 0.3 percent in May.
The Case-Shiller Home Price Index for May will is expected at 9.00 am ET. In the prior month, the 20-City adjusted home price index was 9.00 am.
The Labor Department's Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey for June will be issued at 10.00 am ET. The consensus is 7.4 million, while it was up 7.769 million.
The 7-year Treasury Note auction will be published at 1.00 pm ET. The two-year Floating Rate Note auction will be released at 11.30 am ET.
Asian stocks ended on a mixed note on Tuesday.
China's Shanghai Composite index rose 0.33 percent to 3,609.71. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index dropped 0.15 percent to 25,524.45.
Japanese markets ended lower for a third straight session. The Nikkei average fell 0.79 percent to 40,674.55. The broader Topix index settled 0.75 percent lower at 2,908.64.
Australian markets finished marginally higher.
