Welspun Corp's  associate company East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC) won a contract from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Aramco) for manufacturing and supply of steel pipes worth over Rs 2,000 crore.

In an exchange filing, Welspun Corp said EPIC, a listed entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced on the Saudi Stock Exchange the signing of a contract with Aramco for manufacturing and supply of steel pipes for a total value exceeding 771 million Saudi riyals (approximately Rs 2,000 crore), including value-added tax.

The duration of the contract is six months, and its financial impact will be reflected from the fourth quarter of FY2026-27 through the first quarter of FY2027-28, the company said.

EPIC is Saudi Arabia's leading manufacturer of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes, according to the filing.

The company has fully integrated manufacturing facilities and a track record of executing large orders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it said.
