Tata Motors launches Harrier.ev

Tata Motors on Tuesday unveiled the much-anticipated Harrier.ev, an all-electric SUV . Starting at an introductory price of Rs 21.49 lakh, the Harrier.ev is available in four striking colour options and is built on the next-generation acti.ev+ pure EV architecture. The new Harrier.ev is likely to give an  estimated real-world range of 480 – 505 km C75 range on a single charge.

"This advanced platform enables the SUV to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in a segment-best 6.3 seconds, thanks to its dual-motor QWD (Quad-Wheel Drive) setup that delivers 504 Nm of torque," the company said in a statement.

The Harrier.ev features six advanced terrain modes and exceptional ground clearance, allowing it to handle diverse terrains with ease. At the same time, passengers can experience luxury within the Zenith Suite—an interior crafted to offer premium comfort and innovation.  Tata Motors is also offering a lifetime warranty on the battery pack of the Harrier.ev.

According to the company, the new Harrier.ev is built on the cutting-edge acti.ev+ architecture and powered by a robust QWD that generates the highest torque and unleashes fastest acceleration ever seen in an Indian SUV.

Features of the Harrier.ev 

Dual motor power of 158 PS (116 kW) at the front, and 238 PS (175 kW).

504 Nm torque from the dual-motor setup.

0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

Long-range 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs.

Fast charging at 1.5 C delivers up to 250 KM in just 15 minutes.

Six terrain modes: Normal, Grass/Snow, Mud/Gravel, Sand, Rock Crawl, Custom.

Boost Mode, Drift Mode, and Off-road Assist with cruise control (as low as 5 km/h).

Transparent Mode for obstacle visibility beneath the vehicle.

The Harrier.ev will be available in four colour options – Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Additionally, The SUV will also be available in the STEALTH Edition.

Tata Motors also said that the Harrier.ev has many  first-in-world and segment-first features, including a display by Harman, powered by Samsung Neo QLED, immersive Dolby Atmos acoustics, and a revolutionary 540° Surround View system that eliminates blind spots—even beneath the vehicle.

From Digi Access using Ultra Wide Band for hands-free unlocking, to an e-Valet feature, and a 540° Surround View system that even reveals what lies beneath the vehicle, this SUV is engineered to anticipate rather than simply assist.
