IT major Infosys Ltd on July 23 reported 12% rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 7,769 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. It reported consolidated net profit of Rs 6,921 crore in the year-ago period. The company misses CNBC-TV18 net profit estimate of Rs 7,903 crore.
The company's revenue from operations rose 14% to Rs 48,211 crore in Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 42,279 crore in Q1FY26, missing analysts' estimates of 483.67 billion rupees, according to data compiled by LSEG.
Infosys trimmed FY27 upper end revenue growth guidance to 3% from 3.5%.
In rupee terms, the IT major's consolidated revenue growth on a sequential basis was higher than the previous two quarters. The net profit decline of the company was the second worst sequential performance in eight quarters.
The company's board appointed Ashiss Kumar Dash as CEO-designate and said he will be CEO and MD from April 2027.
