Value commerce platform Meesho on July 23 reported an 54 percent year-on-year (YoY) decline in its quarterly net loss to Rs 132.8 crore in the first quarter (Q1) of financial year 2026-27 (FY27), compared to Rs 289.4 crore in the same period a year ago. The company had posted a loss of Rs 166.3 crore in the previous quarter, according to exchange filings.
The Bengaluru-based firm, in its third quarterly results post-IPO, also reported a revenue from operations of Rs 3,712.8 crore, up 48 percent YoY from Rs 2,503.9 crore in the year-ago period. It had reported a revenue of Rs 3,531.2 crore in the previous quarter.
Total expenses for the firm increased almost 43 percent to Rs 3,959.2 crore in the quarter ended June, up from Rs 2,777.6 crore a year ago and Rs 3,807.1 crore a quarter ago.
Meesho said it processed nearly 725 million orders during the quarter, averaging more than 90 orders every second, as the company started to see gains from its AI investments.
AI-powered cataloguing, demand intelligence and multilingual voice agents helped Annual Transacting Sellers grow 81 percent YoY to over 1.04 million, the company added.
