Adani Energy Solutions on October 27 reported 21% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 534 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. It reported consolidated net profit of Rs 675 crore in the year-ago period.
The Adani Group firm's consolidated revenue from operations rose 7% to Rs 6,596 crore in Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 6,184 crore in Q2FY25. On a sequential basis, revenue fell 3.7 per cent from Rs 6767.2 crore.
On October 27, Adani Energy Solutions shares closed flat at Rs 945 apiece.
Under segment results, transmission business recorded a 3 per cent YOY rise in revenue to Rs 2371.96 crore, distribution business revenue rose 4 per cent to Rs 3117.9 crore and smart meter revenue surged to Rs 181.6 crore from Rs 7.6 crore.
Peak demand was recorded at 1,922 mega watts in the quarter, a slight decline from 1,956 MW in the same quarter last year due to regional monsoon.
During Q2FY26, AESL secured four additional projects under the line and substation augmentation category, in the transmision business, awarded on a cost-plus basis. These projects contribute an incremental 4,000 MVA (Megavolt-Ampere) in capacity and Rs 700 crore of project value to the overall pipeline.
In Q2, the company installed 18.2 lakh new meters, reaching a total mark of 73.7 lakh smart meters. Meanwhile, MUL’s units sold grew 55% YoY to 364 million units (MUs) vs 234 million units (MUs) last year, driven by strong industrial demand, the company said in an investor presentation.
