Tata Steel reported 125% increase in net profit at Rs 2,926 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. It reported net profit of Rs 1,301 crore for the year-ago period. The firm missed analysts' estimates of Rs 3,080 crore, according to LSEG data.
The steelmaker's revenue from operations rose 13% to Rs 63,270 crore in Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 56,218 crore in Q4FY25.
The firm declared dividend of Rs 4 per share. The record date for the dividend is July 6, 2026.
On May 15, Tata Steel's shares closed nearly 2% lower at Rs 217 apiece.
Tata Steel also said it will acquire 23% stake in TM International Logistics Limited for Rs 335 crore.
